True story

A client emailed me this morning. Said he wanted a little more “zip” in the copy I wrote for him.
I asked him what zip was.
“It’s just, you know, zip.”
So I waited two hours, then emailed the same copy back to him, except that I’d added one exclamation point somewhere in the middle.
“Perfect!” he responded.
I really don’t know how to feel about that.
